BCP announce 2 New Director Appointments - Chair of NAMA joins BCP

We are excited to share that Aidan Williams and Mary Brennan, two highly respected and accomplished professionals, have joined our Board of Directors. Their wealth of experience and proven leadership will significantly enhance our governance and oversight, reinforcing our commitment to managing €3bn in client funds with the utmost diligence and integrity.

Aidan Williams

Aidan Williams is an Institute of Directors accredited Chartered Director, a Chartered Fellow of the Institute for Securities and Investment, and a former Registered Stockbroker of the Irish Stock Exchange. His involvement with the Institute of Directors and the Irish Fund Directors Association further underscores his commitment to excellence in governance.

Aidan brings over forty years of experience in International Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Fund Management, and Stockbroking. He currently serves as the Chair of the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) and has previously held prestigious positions as the Chair of UniCredit Bank Ireland plc and Macquarie Capital Ireland DAC. Aidan joins BCP as Chair of its Risk & Compliance Committee.

Mary Brennan

Mary Brennan is a highly experienced Independent Non-Executive Director, currently serving as Chair of the Board, Audit Committee, and Risk Committee across a portfolio of financially regulated directorships including FBD. Her previous Board experience includes roles at BNP Paribas Ireland, Atradius Reinsurance DAC, Macquarie Capital Ireland, the Social Finance Foundation, and Microfinance Ireland. Mary joins BCP as Chair of its Audit Committee.

Mary is a Chartered Director, Certified Investment Fund Director, and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland. With over 30 years of experience, Mary has held leadership roles internationally in audit with KPMG and in publicly listed companies such as Elan plc and Occidental Petroleum Corp.

The addition of Aidan and Mary to our Board reflects our commitment to strong governance and strategic leadership. We are confident that their combined expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow and safeguard our clients' interests.
