As Chief Executive Officer, John is responsible for delivering the strategic growth ambitions of the business, and the day-to-day running of BCP. A Chartered Accountant by profession, John joined BCP in 1999, having built up a wealth of experience in both accountancy practice and in industry. He was appointed Finance Director in 2004 and CEO in 2012.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, John joined BCP in 1999, having built up a wealth of experience in both accountancy practice and in industry. He was appointed Finance Director in 2004 and CEO in 2012. He has overseen the transformation of the firm into one of the largest and most respected investment firms in Ireland, during a very challenging period for the industry. John holds a BComm and a Masters in Accounting through University College Dublin and is also a Registered Stockbroker through the Institute of Banking. Having enjoyed a successful career as an inter-county footballer with Dublin and his club St. Vincents, John now coaches with his club. He recently helped St. Vincents to their 2nd All-Ireland Club title in 6 years. He also enjoys running and waterskiing.
Nick Cullen sits on the Board of BCP as a Non-Executive Director. Nick’s blend of property and financial qualifications (Mathematics and Structural & Civil Engineering, Trinity College and Real Estate Economics & Finance, London School of Economics) along with 10+ years commercial property experience, uniquely positions him to provide expert advice on its property investment strategies.
Nick Cullen sits on the Board of BCP as a Non-Executive Director. Nick’s blend of property and financial qualifications (Mathematics and Structural & Civil Engineering, Trinity College and Real Estate Economics & Finance, London School of Economics) along with 10+ years commercial property experience, uniquely positions him to provide expert advice on its property investment strategies. Nick has been involved with BCP on a number of levels for almost 10 years and has been particularly influential in advising the firm on property transactions in Dublin and London. Nick manages a diversified property portfolio valued at over €500m and his knowledge of market trends, asset management, risk management and value extraction will be an important part of the development of BCP’s property business.
Roger joined the Board of BCP as an Independent Non-Exec Director, and Chairman in 2017. Roger started his career with KPMG where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Roger gained a wealth of experience in financial services over the years, including working in very senior roles with Dermot Desmond’s for 15 years. He was involved in the development and management of the IFSC, which was a landmark project.
Roger joined the Board of BCP as an Independent Non-Exec Director, and Chairman in 2017. Roger started his career with KPMG where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Roger gained a wealth of experience in financial services over the years, including working in very senior roles with Dermot Desmond’s for 15 years. He was involved in the development and management of the IFSC, which was a landmark project. Roger currently sits on the Board of the ICAV that owns 50% of Dundrum Shopping Centre, and also sits on the Board of Datalex plc. He brings a wealth of commercial, financial and oversight experience to assist us navigate the next stage of our growth.
Aidan Williams has over forty years’ experience in International Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Fund Management and Stockbroking.
Aidan Williams has over forty years’ experience in International Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Fund Management and Stockbroking. He holds a number of Non-Executive Directorships and is the current Chair of the National Asset Management Agency and is the former Chair of both UniCredit Bank Ireland plc, and Macquarie Capital Ireland DAC. Mr. Williams is an Institute of Directors accredited Chartered Director, a Chartered Fellow of the Institute for Securities and Investment and a former Registered Stockbroker of the Irish Stock Exchange. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and the Irish Fund Directors Association.
Mary Brennan is a Chartered Director, Certified Investment Fund Director, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Mary Brennan is a Chartered Director, Certified Investment Fund Director, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland. In a career spanning over 30 years, Ms. Brennan has worked in Dublin and New York in audit for KPMG, led the global internal audit function in Elan plc. and developed a blue-chip portfolio of non-executive director roles. She is a highly experienced Independent non-executive director and currently holds the position of chair of the board, chair of the audit committee, chair of the risk committee, and chair of the remuneration committee in her portfolio of financially regulated directorships. Ms. Brennan previously served on the boards of BNP Paribas Ireland, Atradius Reinsurance DAC, Macquarie Capital Ireland, the Social Finance Foundation, and Microfinance Ireland.
